Florida Territory Sales Manager
Position Summary
The Florida Territory Manager will lead Eschenbach's sales efforts in the State of Florida and the Territory of Puerto Rico. This position calls on ophthalmologists, optometrists, opticians, and blind rehab professionals among others, encouraging these professionals to offer low vision care to their visually impaired patients and clients. The West Territory Manager will also work with existing customers to enhance patient outcomes and business performance. Successful Territory Managers excel at identifying, qualifying, and acquiring new customers as well as growing existing customers through adept account management.
Responsibilities
- Maximize market penetration of Eschenbach products in the eye care market as well as state and local agencies, VA hospitals another channel partners. A minimum of 3 nights per week ‘out of town’ is to be expected
- Maximize volume of existing Eschenbach customers through marketing support efforts, in-service training, and practice management guidance
- Make at least 10 in-person sales calls per week on eye care and blind rehab professionals.
- Follow-up on all qualified leads within 30 days
- Maintain CRM system for territory and track all selling activities
- Prospect territory on an on-going basis to generate qualified leads.
- Spend adequate time weekly telemarketing territory to schedule travel effectively and efficiently, working primarily by appointment
- Learn and monitor competition in market for low vision aids and magnifiers
- Sponsor and attend local and regional trade shows and eye care events to demonstrate Eschenbach products and cultivate leads
- Maintain samples in good condition
- Always maintain professional appearance and presentation
Required Education, Experience, Skills
- Bachelor’s degree, or the equivalent, preferred
- Commitment to learn and demonstrate the Eschenbach sales technique
- Territory Manager candidates must provide a vehicle for business use that is sufficient for transportation of required sample stock. This is typically a full-size SUV or Minivan for which Eschenbach will provide an allowance and cover mileage-related expenses
- Adherence to dress code
- Proficiency with computers as a selling tool including the MS Office suite of applications (Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Expert time management skills
- Public speaking experience a plus

Pay Range: From $140,000.00 - $165,000 per year (pay includes base, commission, and potential bonuses earned through the year).
